ISF フェア バングラデシュ革靴

今日はISFフェアに行ってきました。
バングラデシュで革靴を作る工場のブースが中国のブースと負けないぐらい沢山出ていました。
品質はもちろんバングラデシュの方が全然上でした。
明日まで池袋サンシャインで行っておりますので是非行ってきてください！

ダイアモンドホテルでフードティスティング

今晩はダイアモンドホテルでフードティスティングに参加しました。
料理賞を受賞したこともあるダイアモンドホテルの中華料理の料理長が様々な料理を出しくれました。

まだあまり知られていないバングラデシュの海老を使ってタイ＆香港式鍋料理や海老てんぷらなど作ってくれました。

彼の作った料理は彼が思うバングラデシュでうけそうな料理の提案です。
それを様々な人達が試食して意見を言いあいました。

料理のコンセプトとしては鍋料理はまだバングラデシュではあまりないということ、
そして6種類ぐらいのタレを出すことで自分で好きな味を作って食べられるということ、
そしたら用意する食料やレシピは簡単に誰でも作れる。

大変楽しく、そしておいしくいただきました！

ムハマド・ユヌス氏＠九州大学

今日はムハマド・ユヌス氏の講演会へ行きました。
ノーベル賞受賞の彼のスポーチは魅力的でした。

やはり彼は立派でした。
彼が会場から外に出るとき、知らない人が彼に色々質問し始めて時間が押してるにもかかわらず、彼は丁寧に答えててびっくりしました。やっぱりそこまでの気遣いは普通の人は出来ませんね。

彼はすごく優しく、いつもニコニコしていて本当に心豊かな人だからこそグラミンの様々なプロジェクトが成功してるのだと思いました！

彼は最近オバマ大統領からも賞を与えられました。アジア人で唯一受賞されたユヌス氏です。
私もアジア人として誇りを持っています。

会場ではバングラデシュの有名な女優もいてにぎやかでした！

The theme of the speech was based on Social Business:

What is Social Business?
Social business is a new kind of business. We have defined it in a very precise way with very well defined boundary for this new concept, distinct from the profit-making business.
Terms like "social enterprise" or "social entrepreneurship", and many other such terms are frequently used in the literature. They are sub-concepts within the profit-making world.
Social business is a business which is outside the profit-seeking world. The goal of social business is to solve a social problem with no intention to make personal benefits out of it. So the personal profit is out, social impact is in.

A social business company can make profit. Making profit by the company is not excluded. Simply the owners or investors will not take the profit. They will not take it as dividend because the very intention of the investors is to achieve a social goal. Since it is a business, the company has to be sustainable. Meaning that it must cover its cost. So it’s a non loss, non dividend company.

We retain another condition — investors can take back the investment amount. Whatever amount of money they have invested they can take it back over a period of time. That period is to be defined by them. It could be a very short period, like one year, or two years, or very long period — twenty years, or 50 years or more. It is the wish of the investors. We want to make it clear that the investor has the right to take back this money....(continued)

JATAワールドとラベルフェア

今日は国際展示場で行われているJATAワールドとラベルフェアへ行ってきました。

世界中の国のブースが出ていてすごく楽しかったです。

見たことのない食べ物とかもいっぱい売っていました。

私はブースを回っているときにやっぱり旅が趣味なのだと確信しました。

バングラデシュのブースで大使にも会えて楽しい一日でした。

EKMATTRAリ地獄のような街

今日は映画「EKMATTRAアリ地獄のような街」の試写会でした。

これはバングラデシュストリートチルドレンの生活の真実を取り上げた映画です。

この映画からの収益はEKMATTRAアカデミー（子供達の学校）を建設する費用になります。

映画からはパワフルなメッセージが伝わります。
